Will you take my old appliance back on delivery?
"SSE Airtricity/Exertis" will take back your old electrical appliances at the time of delivering your new appliances provided they old units are disconnected, defrosted (in the case of Cooling items), clean, ready and in an accessible place for the driver.
Where can I recycle my appliance myself?
If you are not ready to send back your old appliance at the time of delivery, there are nationwide collections points where you can recycle your old appliance for free. Visit www.weeeireland.ie for more info. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.
It should also be noted you may also leave back old electrical appliances for recycling at the following site Ballymount Civic Amenity Site, Ballymount Ave, Greenhills, Dublin 24 or Estuary Recycling Centre, Seatown East, Swords, Co. Dublin - There is no purchase necessary to avail of this.
